Answers before you take the next step.
Common questions about reports, appointments, travel, costs and documents. If yours isn't here, ask a coordinator.
Getting started
Do I need a confirmed diagnosis before contacting CIKITSA INDIA?
No. You can contact us if you already have a diagnosis or if you are looking for help coordinating a specialist consultation. The appropriate medical professional decides what evaluation is needed.
What if I don't know which specialty I need?
Tell us about the help you are looking for. Our coordination team can help identify the appropriate next step, without making a medical diagnosis.
Can my family member contact you on my behalf?
Yes, a family member can make the first enquiry. Sharing medical information or coordinating sensitive details should be done with the patient's permission where appropriate.
Reports and consultations
What if I already have medical reports?
Tell our team which reports you have. We'll guide you on how to share them through the designated secure channel and explain the next coordination steps.
Can you help me find a specialist in India?
We help coordinate consultations with relevant specialists and hospitals based on your needs and the services available. Appointment availability must be confirmed.
Can you arrange a second opinion?
Yes. If you would like another medical perspective, we can help arrange a second-opinion consultation. Medical recommendations are provided by the consulting specialist.
Treatment plans and costs
Can I get a treatment plan and cost estimate before travelling?
We can help coordinate with the hospital or medical team to request available treatment information and cost estimates. These may change after clinical evaluation, additional tests or consultation.
Why might the final cost differ from the estimate?
An estimate is based on the information available before the specialist sees you. After clinical evaluation or additional tests, the treating team may recommend a different plan, which can change the cost.
Travel and visa
Do you help with medical visa invitation letters?
We help eligible international patients with the hospital-related invitation letter process. Requirements vary, and neither an invitation letter nor our assistance guarantees visa approval.
Can you help arrange accommodation and local transport?
Yes. We can help coordinate these arrangements according to your requirements, availability and hospital visit details.
What should I bring to India?
Your passport and visa, original reports and scans (including CDs or USB drives), a list of your current medicines and any prescriptions. Your coordinator will confirm what applies to your visit.
Our role
Does CIKITSA INDIA provide medical advice or guarantee treatment outcomes?
No. Medical assessments, diagnoses, treatment recommendations and clinical outcomes are the responsibility of qualified medical professionals and the treating hospital. We support coordination and related arrangements.
How is my information kept private?
We collect only what we need to route your enquiry, and only the coordinators handling it and the treating team see your details. Please read our privacy policy for more.
Still have a question?
Our patient coordination team is happy to help. There's no obligation to go ahead with anything.
